Is our solar system moving through space.

The solar system isn t a vortex but rather the sum of all our great cosmic motions. The sun and the whole solar system is not orbiting the center of the milky way galaxy. From the planet to our solar system to the milky way and beyond we re in motion with respect to the rest of the universe. What it purports to show is the motion of the solar system through space.

The earth you see much like all the planets in our solar system orbits the sun at a much speedier clip. Even at this rapid speed the solar system would take about 230 million years to travel all the way around the milky way. The milky way too moves in space relative to other galaxies. But rather that we are moving through space.

But the accuracy of this has been utterly derided as an affront to scientific dignity. This is a non conven. The solar system is constantly falling on the central buldge of the milky way galaxy. And can quantify exactly how fast we re moving through space on.

So although earth orbits the sun at 66 600 mph and the sun orbits the milky way at 514 500 mph our solar system s speed relative to the cmb is about 827 000 mph. From this effect in the big bang s.
